At this time of year, it’s a pleasure to walk around our suburb. Roses, wisteria and other colourful flowers flourish in these gardens. The gardens have obviously been planted when the houses were built - probably 60 years ago. So while the gardens deserve appreciation, a lot of the houses have deteriorated due to being rental properties.
This is a flower I thought might be a aquilegia but it’s not quite the same and I’ve never known that flower to be completely white

Rhubarb- first cut for the season from the garden - lovely with muesli and creamy yoghurt for breakfast.
