The close photo with that elusive low aperture. Or is it high! Wide open anyway. Just a few lavender stalks have survived an almighty pruning with a hedge cutter!
Thankful for:
Several outside doors. Our well used backdoor with an unusual locking build has locked us out now. We can't get in or out. However the Company is on our side and has suggested some ideas.
A beautiful image. Oh my, locked in (or locked out), I hope that problem is solved soon. We have 4 doors to the outside, but use our back door the most.
What is lavender doing flowering in your garden in the middle of winter? Just amazing!
Panic stations...you do not want to be locked out in winter.. we have a spare key hidden outside somewhere....everyone know where it is though! 🤣🤣
@happypat We seem to have lavender flowering all year round provided we give it a good prune now and then. These special doors have 6 built in locks and one has got stuck in the out position, Pat. I think we have to take the whole door off!
Methinks you need a different lock MM, just as well you have other escape routes. Love your lavender, I'm darned if I can get closeups right, very irritating.
@golftragic We have German designed windows and doors, Marnie. We might have to wait till someone can come down and fix it for us - not Germany, thank goodness but merely Christchurch!
