I put my iphone over the top of this magnolia flower and found it full of activity! At first the camera couldn't focus on the bees but I changed the settings and it was all good!

January 1, 2021 started with champagne cocktails shared with two sons, one in Canada with fire going and an excited granddaughter, still waiting for New Year and the other, in a small town in Japan where the home was so cold inside, they wore all their clothes to bed and eiderdowns on top.

A wonderful iPhone photo...they are amazing pieces of kit aren’t they! Such detail from a phone! They make them tough in Japan....what a contrast to see the different houses & you in the middle in summer! Happy New Year to you & John!
@louannwarren They were at Masami's mother's place - an older house in a little town. But even in their own house - no fireplace - don't have them over there!
