"The TSS Earnslaw is a 1912 Edwardian twin screw steamer based at Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand. It is one of the oldest tourist attractions in Central Otago, and the only remaining commercial passenger-carrying coal-fired steamship in the southern hemisphere."
It goes off on its journey up the lake for a dinner cruise at 6pm.
Thankful for:
A comfy place to stay - both of us are a bit under the weather - sneezes and coughing, headaches for me. No way is it covid!
@yaorenliu Thanks Yao - we won't be about and around tomorrow but we have this wonderful lake to look at 12 hours a day! Its too dark in the other 12 hours!
@pamknowler That place was called Walter Peak High Station and it is still going. The tourists love it - touching a sheep, etc. Now the NZers' know about sheep but still love to do the trip!
I’m so sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well. A shot of whiskey, a tablespoon of honey, a teaspoon of lemon. Heated in the microwave, toss it back, go to bed with four or five blankets covering you and you will feel like new in the morning I promise.
You do have a lovely view and some wonderful autumn colors to look at end it shows up so well in your photo.
Love the flashes of strong colours here...the tip of that mountain is all orange! Yes a hot toddy for you both will do the trick! I hope to go the Queenstown one day!
@skipt07 Covid isn't around in NZ, Skip. Only in Managed Isolation Quarantine with lots of Indians coming in from India and surrounds where the virus is rife!
@grammyn Sounds like a good panacea, Katy. I shall have to go and buy some lemons, some honey. He's got something that has irish moss in it and eucalyptus, seaweed, menthol, liquorice and cedar wood! Imagine that!

Hope you feel better soon.
It's nice to see life is going on and people are still enjoying life.
