My Lily

I never knew how beautiful lilies can be! I bought one bulb and this is what I got!

Thankful for; my ability to not get so so annoyed... There were two old and big aircraft (Orion) that were doing their last flyby over NZ. I had the time all organised, out on the patio waiting.. heard them coming, saw them advancing..camera said 'no photo stick! I rushed in to find the photo stick, eventually found it in the camera but not pushed down. The planes had long gone!

Pretty Lilly.. I was disappointed re Orion as well as had an appointment in town and the were scheduled to fly right over our house and no one home..

@beryl I'd have to agree with you Beryl but I get so excited hearing the sound of different planes that my hands shake, I cannot hold the camera still, worse still can't see the planes! Perhaps just as well I didn't get a shot!
