Our oldest son loves puzzles and the more challenging the better. He received this one for Christmas - Perplexus Epic -- you have to roll a steel ball throughout a nine-inch diameter ball with all kinds of challenges. There are 125 spots to get through and so far he hasn't hit 50. I've messed with it and it's HARD!
I had a simple two layer maze that you had to get the ball through. It was tough, but once you figured it out, it then became really easy and at the same time baffling when you showed it to your friends. "Nah, you cheated."
