Today I was at Driftwood Shores - a hotel and restaurant that sits right on the beach. This beach was quiet but still contained a lot of debris that washed up with our winter storms. It's actually a great beach to walk - pretty level and there is a stretch that is more than a mile in length. This was a shot taken through the window.
On a side note - today marked my 10th year of work with the same company. The day I was hired, I kind of giggled, because I have this thing for numbers and I liked that I was hired 2-22-2002.

The winter storms bring in some interesting finds ... some from Japan ... glass floats and also lots of trees that come down the Siuslaw River, go out with the tide and then come back in and land on the beach.
And since you're a fan of numbers. They were married 20 years ago on 2-22-92. I think they should have waited a week and been married on 2-29-92. ;-)

Thanks for sharing the numbers ... it was a double-good number day.
Thank you for your appreciated comment. It did clear up and later the sun came out.
Thank you Karen. I'm really trying to learn good composition.
Thanks for the FAV John! I love this misty/moody effect from the fog bank of the ocean.
Actually Diana the driftwood makes the beach very interesting during the winter months.
Thanks for appreciating the softness of the shot.
