Water and Light

It was a fun morning of sharing and learning from one another about photographing water. Gotta love those family times ... there were seven adults and four kiddos.
Awesome shot :)

Thanks Curtis! It was a fun day. I lost my photo-mojo for a year 2013, but have gotten back into it this year. My goal this year is to learn Lightroom for cataloging and editing. At this point I'm not editing anything - grateful that I'm simply posting.

Thanks!
I LOVE that my project this year has NOTHING to do with seeking perfection. I'm just going to keep the camera going and enjoy it without the self-imposed pressure of trying to make each photo better than the last. If I learn something new, all the better --- but it's going to be a more 'laid back' year for me. Ahhhhh, that feels so good.

it was a great first day out with everyone! I have to confess that a lot of mine have nothing to do with our subject: water...but hey, I have a couple!

Hi Becky! Saw your comment on @munkoyey 's page and had to touch base with you. I have been to Seattle once and loved it, but more importantly I am a big Seahawks fan. You see I am a school librarian at Collegiate School in Richmond, VA--Russell Wilson's alma mater. As you can imagine everyone at my school ) and most of Richmond is on the Russell bandwagon. He is quite a guy.

Well Allison, then you would be having a blast in our current FAN environment. I was taking my MIL home after church today and there was a bi-plane pulling a huge "12" flag behind it. We are all the 12th (Wo)Man. Here is another one for you ... I was a middle school librarian for 16 years (Lynden, Washington near the Canadian border)! Most recently a publications/communications specialist and did all the web maintenance for a small hospital on the Oregon Coast. My job was eliminated because of the costs associated with the new healthcare reform. At that point it seemed like it was time to get back to the Seattle area where I have two sons, two DILs and four granddaughters. I miss the Oregon Coast but love Seattle! Go Hawks!
