Creature in our backyard

Fox? Baby Coyote? Whatever it is, it does not belong inside our fence!

Strange, really strange....where do you live ? I've never seen that in my part of the world...

Wow! Hopefully it can find its way back out. We can hear coyotes pups yapping at night, and a vixen in heat is a terrifying sound.

@cocobella we're in Atlanta! Not even out in the woods or anything. The consensus among my facebook friends is that it's a young coyote with mange. (Apparently there have been several other sightings in the area.) A tree had fallen and knocked one board off our fence. My husband fixed the hole so I suppose we'll find out soon enough if the thing got out.

@margonaut thanks Margonaut for the answer, i would be scared to death if I found this coyote in my garden, once I saw a fox in mine but he was so scared of me he ran away... Your coyote doesn't seem impressed...don't let your doors open ;)
