Made by my grandmother, who I was named after. The only quilt I have from anyone else in my family. Documenting its condition before attempting to clean it.
@wiesnerbeth@ceci Yes, it's appliqued and embroidered, and hand-quilted (of course). I soaked it in a textile cleaning solution made for antique quilts, and it worked pretty darn well. Only the worst stain in the lower left is still visible, but much fainter. I will probably soak that corner again and maybe try a little lemon juice and sunshine.
