@wiesnerbeth I've never used Warm and White before, but it's what they suggested for the 70273 Project quilts. And I'm planning to make several. Can I ask you something? Does it usually produce lots of lint? My machines were full of lint after using it, but changing to a new needle seemed to help.

@margonaut I've never noticed excessive lint but I'm notoriously bad about cleaning my machine. Do you have a longarm? (I just have a Viking.)

@wiesnerbeth , Don't have a longarm but I do have a Sweet Sixteen. And I love it! I only asked because this was the first time I've had an issue with lint causing the thread to break. At least it seemed to be related. It broke several times, and there was always a hunk of lint attached to the thread. Could have been the thread though. Bought a cone of something I don't usually use. And the dull needle didn't help. Might try hitting that thread with a little silicone next time. Or dunking it in mineral oil (a la Sharon Schamber).
