@wiesnerbeth yes, the domino game and racks were the present this year. (It's always a family activity of some sort.) Good thing there were two packages, because the kids claimed that they spotted the pickle at the same time!
@margonaut Who found it first is always a heated argument in my house. I like the idea of a family activity present ... I'll have to incorporate that next year. This year I didn't put up a tree (although I have a teeny tiny one in the kitchen). I bought a birch twig tree with lights on Christmas Eve and dragged it back home. Im feeling a little sad about the whole Christmas tree thing this year and seriously considered getting out the ornaments tonight and decorating the birch tree in time for Three Kings Day.
