I have never wished more that I was your next door neighbor. Do you have an ice cream maker? One of my brothers taught my kids to make ice cream when they were younger and my older son has been trying to perfect his ice cream making skills over the last year. Every once in awhile he shares some with me.
@wiesnerbeth Yes, I have a little Cuisinart that makes 1 1/2 quarts. Have discovered that alcohol makes all the difference in scoop-ability once it's been stored in the freezer. A couple of tablespoons of bourbon added to the peach was perfect. Also, I made strawberry this week with pear liqueur. You couldn't taste the liqueur, but the texture of the ice cream was greatly improved.
