@eudora Apparently recruited right out of college. Heck, he was only 25 in 1945. He worked in Oak Ridge until they opened the Paducah (uranium enrichment) plant. He never even discussed his job there with me, all very hush hush. But my sister and cousins seem to have some stories. I found this certificate (in the manilla envelope) when I was sorting through old wrapping paper and bags at my sister's house.
@margonaut I wish I knew more about my family members. I knew what my father did at work, but he seldom talked about his childhood or early adult years.
