Just to the left of this shot, somebody is stood on the canal side throwing bread to the Swans, Canada Geese, Mallards and Black Headed Gulls. Each time he threw some food into the water there was a mad crazy dash for it.
Now if you have the time, and want to look a bit more closely, one of these birds as managed to get a beak full of bread.
One of the gulls seems to be leaving with some goodies. I also notice one of the swans appears to be 'goosing' one of his/her neighbors. I see the Canada geese do this often around my pond. They can be quite nasty to one another when there is food up for grabs.
@gardencat Yes Joanne, you regularly see some of the Swans biting each other, I did try the other day to get a photograph of it, but did not get anything any good.
