In search of texture 4...

Out of time, out of resources - a dead head!

There is a dead doe carcass in the road by the mailbox this morning. Someone did some damage to their car or truck last night. NO! I won't be taking a pic of it! Not the kind of texture I want to look at right now. I hope someone moves it because it's going to stink and attract a whole mess of flies - not to mention the crows and turkey "vultures" (for you who insist on the correct terminology) or "buzzards" (for those of you who insist on the "local" terminology).

Oh that happened a few years ago in front of our place. Very very foggy night someone hits a deer. It was left on the side of the road. As I'm leaving for work early the next morning I see it. I call my husband up at the house and told him to come out with the loader and take care of it. He said yup yup. Well yup yup never came out and got it. A few days later the darn coyote was working on it and pulled it out on the road. This time when I called my husband he came out with the loader and got it. I hope it doesn't stay out there very long for you. Great capture of texture by the way. LOL

Love your pov and this texture shot ... that's really a beautiful dof! Sorry about that deer. There was one killed on the road going to my daughter's house about two weeks ago and it's STILL there. What the heck are our taxes for anyway?!!
