New Acer Leaves

Experimenting with an old Helios lens from my ancient Zenit SLR camera after I bought an adapter to use on my Canon! This was the best of fairly rubbish images. I rather like the gentle pink of these new acer leaves.

Very redolent of spring, lovely soft colour, but perhaps a few too many out of focus areas for my taste: there’s no easy flow around the image without encountering one.

@delboy207 Thank you! I had a quick look on Ebay and they seem to be going for anything between £20 - £70. I have two, so I will experiment with them over the next few days!

@jlmather Thanks John, as I said this was the first attempt at experimentation with an old Helios lens, that is supposed to create wonderful bokeh. There was absolutely no bokeh on today's photos!
