25 - Entrapment

I took a group of photographers to photograph the inside of Gloucester Prison which was decommissioned in 2013. It was built in 1791 and has a fascinating history but my overall impression was that it was bleak and stark. I wanted my images to be authentic and express my feelings and emotions about visiting this very sad institution. This is one of many images I took.
They essentially were living in a cage, or a series of cages.
