I've been noticing some vignetting in the top right corner (portrait orientation) from my CPL filter and my 18-200mm lens when using the shorter focal lengths. I wasn't fully wide here, and it still shows a bit. Annoying, but I'm just going to suck it up for now. I like the CPL otherwise, and can probably edit it out in post if I really hate the results.
TBH, I said "edit it out in post" because I've seen other photographers say that, and it sounds cool ;). I barely know anything about post processing right now. I want to do that, but I'm not there yet. So, ya, I guess everything I do is SOOC. :)
Nicely framed by greenery. I'm not into post-processing much but I just took a subscription to Lightroom, mainly for organizing and indexing my photo and the software offers some post processing capabilities. So who knows...
That’s a beautifully clear shot - I used to work close by so I’ve taken many of this view but never got this much detail. But then I shoot with my iPhone! I can’t see the distortion. I use Snapseed for post editing, amongst others, it’s free and easy to use.
If you don't go into post processing, you might not be aware that often our last step is to add a bit of that darkened vignetting in the corners! I saw this as a well photographed and finished image!
Wonderful SOOC image. It looks awesome against the blue sky. If you decide to get into post processing light room is user friendly, and does a great job with lens correction. Thank you for the follow. :)
