It’s the Colors that Caught my Eye

Closeup of a part of the back gate at the animal shelter. I paused to take this picture as Dan and I were leaving.

Hi partner ... Thank you for the challenge. Knee replacement surgery ... oh my ... good luck. northy once challenged me to use "in the kitchen" for my challenge prompt and I rather enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table seeing what might catch my eye. Will "in the kitchen" work for you? If not, let me know and I'll set another challenge. I do hope everyting goes well. I had a hip replacement done in 2020 and I still remember the swelling, icing, elevating, and physical therapy. I do like my new hip though....

A great deal oh history in those markings. Think of the joy and sadness transiting those doors. Beautiful deep thought shot.

Interesting how the wood has different colors.

@randystreat Kathy, this is all metal. Rust probably comes into play. Other than that, I’m not sure where the variety of colors comes from. Might some be just angle of sun?? I’m pretty ignorant of all that. Thanks much for taking the time to comment,
