What is that aircraft though? It looks very unusual, with what looks like a lack of canopy but a windshield?
Also, I can’t work out the undercarriage. I’d guess it has some retractable gear at the front, but then what are the two smaller wheels? They look like the kind you get on wingtips to protect against scrapes, but a lot closer in. Very intriguing!
@plebster Andy, this is a Fournier RF4, which has been build in the late 60s, only about 150 aircraft. You may exchange the closed canopy for just a windshield, as in the photo. There is one central retractable wheel, approx. at the pilot's feet, the 2 small wheels just keep the wing level on the ground.

Just been watching a video of one, on YouTube, doing an air show. They’re neat little things, and seem to be able to do level aerobatics. Pretty cool!
