This is really a sweet composition!
PS -- the red hatted runner was VERY hard to find -- I knew he was there when I took the shot and couldn't find him for a long time even on the large screen. He's at the base of the tree in the background on the right hand side. Teeeeeny!
Such a pretty vase...what a treasure! It reminds me of antique Mary Gregory glass. She was an artist known to paint images of Victorian era children on glass. I have a beautiful Fenton piece done in her style depicting a sweet little girl feeding the birds.
A lovely piece. I have to agree with Janet B. My parents were antique dealers, and the first thing that came into my mind when I saw your photo was Mary Gregory.
