@pusspup Thank you for the comment, Wylie. The only way I know is that Mountain Laurel grows wild in the forest or in state parks and Rhododendron grows in peoples yards. So in Pennsylvania when we see a large plant of it in the wild, we assume it is Mountain Laurel. We were surprised to see it blooming in July.
