Teasels again cropped by mittens

Teasels again cropped

From advice given in my critique thread I thought I would crop off the ones on the right and I added a dark border around it. I think it looks better. Don't mind me, just experimenting with pictures. :)
Fabulous shot! :)

Really beautiful Such detail and I love the green background.

I prefered your first photo....it had more colour to it...the yellow tone is missing...the super detail is still there..but that is just my opinion.

I think I like this version of your teasel, Mittens.....composition & framing make it striking. I had posted a shot of teasel in my 365 album back on Oct 10 of last year and got some really interesting info from Danny Davies (another 365er). He said "this wild flower is called a Teasel, was a very important plant in the woolen industry, would use it to tease the wool strands into shape, hence it's name. they don't use it today".

Thank you so much everyone.

Diana - that is interesting what you said. I guess photography is actually one of those things that is up for interpretation. Maybe that's why I can never make up my mind on which shot to use. LOL

@mjmaven I'll have to go and look at your teasels on Oct. 10. Danny has given me some good advice, too.

@mjmaven Sorry Shirley, I wasn't able to go back to Oct. Your project only let me go back a month.

This is lovely, your focus stands out in this. I love the darkness of the green in the background as a contrast
