geraniums in Ipswich

We were wandering through the center of Ipswich today.......an old fishing and farming community in Massachusetts, founded in 1630 by a son of one of the founders of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. There were many of these huge hanging baskets of geraniums everywhere. This particular one was on the wall of the old Choate Bridge which was built in 1764.

Many thanks to everyone for your visits, comments & favs!
