Cow tunnel by mjmaven

Cow tunnel

This is a cow tunnel; there are several in this area. They were made in the 1800’s as roads were being created, often through existing pastures. The tunnels were built under the road, or in this case a railroad track, to allow farm animals to move from one part of the pasture to the other side.
How interesting. I have never seen this before, but it makes perfect sense.
