2017-03-16 lush ginkgo

Drifting paper ginkgo leaves, detail of a project. I have all sorts of works-in-progress – sketches, photo- or craft projects, – you name it. I tend to have an idea, jump on it with lots of energy, only to find that I have such a lot going on in my life... Always everything else is first, than my creative ideas. This is one of the projects, sitting on my shelf since,… round about 1.5 years. I alreadycut (with a tiny paper cut scissor) hundreds of tiny ginkgo leaves in different shades of green, have the frame, and all I need, but never found the time or the right muse to bring the leaves “to drift” all over the picture and let the sun cast the shadows. At least today, it serves for the rainbow challenge, maybe this brings back the muse, to finally finish it.

For the rainbow challenge: lush ginkgo / Week N°3: paper "artsy fartsy"

Amazing shots all. I love the fact that not only are you following the rainbow theme but also separate themes for each week. I look forward to seeing the whole month xx

Beautiful. The blur and shadows add so much interest.

I thought this was a photo of shamrock flowers. It would have been totally appropriate for the color and for the day tomorrow.
