This is the fence of a primary school, which is covered in graffiti. This municipal worker has spent the morning painting over it, so that the kids will find a clean fence when they go back to school on Monday... unless the graffiti "artists" see the clean fence first and consider it a clean slate for their new creations.
A nice candid shot, but what a shame all that work is necessary. I think street art in the right place can be a very attractive feature, but a collection of tags like this creates a poor environment.
@bkbinthecity Thanks @bigmxx@busylady@pattyblue@fishers@ladymagpie Thanks a lot - I totally agree with you. It's a shame that some people feel entitled to deface others' property, and that workers need to clean after them. Moreover, nearby there are some places where graffiti is allowed - no need to tag the fence of a school!
