I love this technique. Today I woke up to a very windy day. What better day for photography? Well, surely not macro photography. But intentional camera movement...
I managed 116 captures in one shooting session. And I don't use burst. And only about 4 or 5 are captivating enough.
I have no idea what I should edit in these captures. But since it is still September, I'll go straight out of camera and drop this garden here.
I am now unsure of how to bring September to an end.
Thanks to Clare, Lee, Mikel and the wonderful community of 365 for being so inspirational.
lovely icm - i like how the flowers seem to be falling, and being able to still make out the subject. i can quite understand that only a few were to your taste - i usually delete the vast majority!
@pistache thank you so much. I also noticed there are two kinds of ICM photographs, with different effects, equally amazing: the ones where you can distinguish the subject, and those in which you can only see shadows or colours and are very abstract. @shutterbug49 Thank you so much! A happy accident out of 116 intentional accidents.
A great movement pic. of those nice colored flowers.
My technic of taken pic.`s by strong winds is to focus on a more far distance. (And/or waith patience There is alway`s a short moment of rest between the movements.)
@30pics4jackiesdiamond thank you. I knoooow... I have this habit of taking looots of shots. @pyrrhula thank you. Where I live, there is a saying that the wind does not blow for 2 days in a year: when it changes direction. And usually, I wait for those moments of quiet. But the other day, the only moment the wind stopped a bit was in the evening, when it started raining heavily.
My husband keeps asking me what does it take my camera so long to take a picture. It is because i set it up in one position and then wait for the wind to halt.
