my grandaunt back in the old country a gazillion years ago, had a large bush of hibiscus that bore flowers like these two. they said it was impossible that it was just one plant. when my cousins and i were in high school and studying botany, we examined the plant and found out there were actually two main plants that somehow "merged" -- just grew attached to each other, it was the first time i learned of a 'chimera'. mother nature is wonderful and it's nice to explore its secrets when one can. very nice shot, moni. aces!
