The edelweiß portrait. Yesterday's portrait featured - by chance - an edelweiß pin mounted on one of my window ornaments. So, for today's shot, i used the same pin, pulled out my edelweiß earrings and my edelweiß scarf. Would anyone guess that it is a favourite flower?

@cdcook48 Thank you very much! I didn't even think of the song or of the film before reading the first comment about it :D Perhaps also that in my language, we don't use the German name of the flower. Literally, it is called 'corner flower', but I guess it is perhaps something like 'pointed flower'. Anyhow, I just read on wiki that it used to be called 'queen's flower' and the communists introduced this 'pointed flower' name :D
