Exercise 7 by monikozi

Exercise 7

The scarf in yesterday's photo gave me the idea to pull out the pile of colourful scarves for the 52-week theme of colourful.
I am wearing in this photo another colourful scarf turned into a poncho.
You have quite a beautiful collection of colorful scarves… love your expression!

@kvphoto Well, i guess they are one too many... but which one? 😄
December 5th, 2021
What a look and great collection of scarves.
December 5th, 2021
Owls.....you have owls.......
December 5th, 2021
@monikozi most definitely a tough choice… love the one you have on… but all are beautiful. Do you have a favorite?
December 5th, 2021
You have a beautiful collection there! I love the big scarves - you can do so much more with them.
December 5th, 2021
You gotta keep them all! I love scarves and have way too many as I can never get rid of one. My favourite is the one you are wearing, also love your story telling expression ;-)

You have got piles, they say that cream is very good for it.
December 5th, 2021
Wonderful collection and great selfie
December 5th, 2021
Make great alternatives to wrapping paper when you tire of them! Don't think I'd tire of any of these though
December 5th, 2021
At least yours are neatly folded...mine start out that way but by the end of the week just seem to be a colourful jumble.
December 5th, 2021
Another good link. You are showing great creativity in this exercise.
December 6th, 2021
You have a very impressive collection.
December 6th, 2021
This is great!
December 6th, 2021
Well done! You have quite a collection. And I really like that pointing finger and your face :)
December 6th, 2021
Very cool answer
December 6th, 2021
Lovely collection, my favourite of course would be the one with owls on it
December 6th, 2021
@cutekitty Of course!!! :D Three of them are with owls. Even if it is not visible.
December 6th, 2021
@kvphoto These are my favourites from a much larger pile that had to be reduced last year. But historically, the most used one is the third from top, the green and white one.
December 6th, 2021
@30pics4jackiesdiamond At some point I used some scarves to wrap gifts. I read somewhere about the Japanese way to wrap gifts in scarves and to make furoshiki 'bags'.
December 6th, 2021
@gardencat Yeees, they are neatly folded because I haven't used any of them for more than a year. Since I work from home. otherwise, they are the mentioned colourful jumble... always flowing from the wardrobe when the door opens.
December 6th, 2021
@kjarn There are three with owls. But the pattern is not visible on two of them in this photo.
December 6th, 2021
I’m sure I’d love all three then
December 6th, 2021
What I got from this picture was, "How am I supposed to iron all this out?" Funny grin.
December 6th, 2021
@borof Yes, that could be also an interpretation :D That's the beauty of photography: it speaks differently to every person. Thank you!
December 6th, 2021
this is an amazing exercise, especially how you did it. you took the most inconspicuous item in the preceding photographs which took your audience (at least myself) by surprise. way to go. aces!

admittedly i forgot about doing this but i might do in the near future. and also, i have a luggage full of just scarves, most of which i have only used once, a few i've never even taken out of the wrappings (including those that were gifted to me) and yet i refuse to part with them. i'm convinced i'm going to hell for hoarding.
December 6th, 2021
@summerfield Thank you very much! It was challenging and surprising for me, and I am glad it was surprising for you as well.
I'll hold the door for you to join me... :D
December 6th, 2021
Wow what wonderful scarfs you have and what a great idea to show them off.
December 8th, 2021
@lesip Thank you very much
