I like using posterise particularly because you can affect the outcome very subtly especially on days when the light is poor it gives a touch more interest.
I like the way you tuned the posterization in this picture. It is large enough to create distinctive areas of colours in the water and on the planks, but small enough to avoid transforming the picture into an abstract.
