A Pastel Perch .... (For Me)

I live in the middle of nowhere with a large garden full of birds - heron, egrets, curlew, thrush, blackbirds. woodpeckers, wild duck, geese - a huge variety! HOW DIFFICULT can it be to photograph one? So this is it ..... back to moss!!
Nice capture Jane if a just a little over exposed, just try it on auto and watch the settings so you can apply it on manual, you soon will be taking the wildlife. hope it helps! My cameras are Canons but cropped sensors, I have a 650D and an SX50 bridge camera which I absoluetly love, I always use manual exposure and tend to forget there is auto on the dial!

@lynnilou @dmcoile Thank you. @craftymeg Thank you for your advice. I try to work on manual all the time. If unsure I take a quick auto, check the details, and then apply similar settings to adjust to something I like. It is hard to believe I have nearly finished my first year. Thank you again.
