Little Miss Stevie has been going through some changes lately. She's eating like no tomorrow, pulling out little feathers and there's new ones coming through with little caps on them. Now, during her moulting season, which happens a few times a year, she's at her most vulnerable; and her cutest.
This week, half her head has been moulted properly and the other half is catching up; so she looking like somebody's given her feather a trim, when really they haven't.

She looks a little skinny here; but really, it was a hot day and she had just been for a fly around the living room. So, she was cooling off a little. But this time (compared to this time last year when she was sick), she's well and eating a lot more food. Such a lovely little thing! And so very affectionate too. :D
