I saw this big grasshopper the other day on a bin; and though he's look good from behind. After a few shots, I gave his leg a tickle and he went bouncing off into the bushes... of course, this could have easily backfired on me and he could have jumped on me instead. :)
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@Weezilou I normally wouldn't have either; but I was in a playful mood and knew that I if I wanted him to jump, I had to touch him on the leg; but didn't know which part. So, seeing he was pretty steady and relaxed, I thought to try him out. :) It's the bits under his leg that look sharp and dangerous that are uber-ticklish for a grasshopper... :)
I love the inverted colours - it looks like he's a piece of jewellery. Good job he jumped the right way or we could have had some very interesting pics :)
