Last night I was out and about in Fortitude Valley in Brisbane at one of my friend's (Geoff Treagus) art openings at Barsoma's. I had organised to have Little Miss Stevie cared for by Mum and Dad and then I bused and trained my way in there.
The opening started at around 5pm and we had gourmet pizzas for dinner and drinks were on a tab at the bar. By around 9pm, the place was really jumping with people, parties and music! And it was really cold outside, so our group migrated inside to a couple of reserved tables.
By around 10:30pm, most of Geoff's guests had left to head off home; and it was time we did too. So, we walked to the station and caught our train to Cleveland froze our way to their car in the car park there. Boy! Was it freezing cold one out near the Bay!
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
