A Night With Triple M

I received a phone call from Triple M Brisbane and was advised that I had won a night at the studios to listen to The Living End's new album before it hit the stores! I could bring a long one friend; and I chose Mum.
Well, it was a great night!
We got to listen to the whole album while eating lovely finger food and having drinks with Woody, Bangers and Jo (three announcers from the usual daytime shows).
And then we were shown the studios by Jo (shown in picture 4).
I got to sit in 'The Cage's studio at Emily J's mic and do a promo for Triple M (so did the other 9 winners) and then I saw my voice broken down as a pattern on a computer! Very cool!
This was a brilliant night and I loved it! Mum had a great time by losing my camera cover (then realising she put her camera in it by mistake!... oops!). Then, we got outside the Roma Street Station and I lost my Go Card and thought we left it at the studios. So, we went back and found out it was in my bag all along! (another oops on my behalf!)
We got home around 9pm with 'The Living End' posters and knowing we'll be getting cd's of their new album in the mail.
What a night!
I'd do it again - without losing anything that is! :D
