My Birthday At the Art Gallery by mozette

My Birthday At the Art Gallery

Today, I was on the roster for the Logan Art Gallery (on the morning shift). Well, seeing it was my birthday yesterday, it's courtesy to bring in a cake to share with everyone. Little did I know, there'd be two there already. So, when we gathered for morning tea, we had three cakes to choose from. My one is the one in the bottom right covered by the Breast Cancer Banner. It was very delicious and chocolaty.
On my way to the bus stop, I picked up my Birthday Pressie from my Birthday Buddie on Bookcrossing. She and I were lined up some years back now and since then, we have been sending each other presents on our birthdays; and it's always fun; even though we've never met. Today, my birthday parcel from her arrived heavy with books and a present!
In the present were two coin purses, writing paper, a card with an inspirational quote and a lovely card with a gorgeous book! And the other books that were inside the 3kg bag are just as lovely; and I can't wait to read them! What a great Birthday I've been having so far. :D
Celebrate! Triple the birthday calories. I don't know how I got the idea that Lois didn't want you to eat the cake :( How lovely to get a present from your Bookcrossing buddy.

@cmt2812 Actually, the other two cakes were for somebody leaving today and a new person arriving. So, mine was just for my birthday; and I didn't know these two other cakes were going to be there.

So, I brought my cake home and gave it to Dad as I already had half of my cake still in the fridge from my birthday waiting for me to eat it. :)
