Yesterday afternoon I was in West End hanging out with a friend of mine, Will. We met up at 'Avid Reader' bookstore and walked along Boundary Street to a gorgeous little Gothic bookstore... very nice! I loved it. We hung out there after chatting to the owner. Then, we went to 'Rapture' a lovely little bohemian place off Boundary street to have some tea. I ordered some lemon ice tea (but it ended up being too citric for me) and so we ended up drinking Will's Chai tea... very nice.
On the way to Will's place to look at some of his crystals and books, we passed the lizard - the bottom picture. This dude has been a part of Boundary Street for a long time; and so I thought to take a photo of it. It turned out great.
The other three photos: pic1: a sign I spotted from across the street... this is mainly of the scrappy disrepair of the bottom of this one... I found it amazing how nobody's cleaned it up. Pic2 & 3: The pitcher plant at Will's place. He loves this little plant... and it's such a cutie too. :D
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@digitalrn I had to step out onto the road to get the photo of the lizard... upset a truck driver when I did... but then a photographer will do anything for a good photo, right? :)
