This morning, I was out in my yard looking around at the plants and seeing what had to be done before the weekend - like the mowing - when I almost stepped on one of my regular visitors to my yard: a large Blue Tongue lizard.
This lovely specimen was snoozing in the morning sun and he didn't hear me approaching either; and got a scare of his life as well! All I did was say: "Hey, mate, didn't see ya. Stay as long as you like." then I rushed off and grabbed my camera and snuck around the took these great photos of him... even got one of him out in the sun again just as I was hanging out the laundry - how cool is that?
