I took this photo - along with a few others - on 5th, May of a poor Rainbow Lorikeet that had run into Mum and Dad's front windows. He had broken his neck and I took full advantage of this opportunity... the colours were just beautiful!

@digitalrn I know. It was sad to see such a lovely bird outdone by a simple window. However, the feathers are so colourful, and pretty, I just couldn't resist photographing them a bit in the sunshine.
I know that sounds terrible... but these birds are so jumpy, it's hard to photograph them when they're moving so fast amongst the trees.
