This morning, I went to the post office. It was raining; and I'm grateful for it... as it's been so hot and dry lately.
On the way back, I heard a Kookaburra and looked up to find this one on an antenna looking around giggling to himself. I only got one photo before he flew away.

@pixelblur Thanks for you lovely comment. I was trying to get a shot as close to him as possible... as these lovely guys are just gorgeous. I often get on in my garden who just sits on an old clothes line and lets me within 2 metres of him. About a year ago, in the middle of Winter, he sat there looking at me as I stepped closer and closer; knowing I wasn't a danger. He was such a lovely bird.
