Ged Maybury is a good friend of mine who I've known for years... however until today, we hadn't seen each other for around 15 years.
So, we met up at Rocky's Bakehouse & Cafe. And what a great time we had! He thought it was going to be a little bakery; but he was in for a great surprise when we were served up our lunch of the Salmon Benedict! Yummo! I found it so rich that I couldn't eat it all.
Then, we walked to my place and pored over my book collection in my little office. He loved the rare books I had hidden in the shelves and loved how I found them too... all the little stories that came with each book!
Before long, it was time for him to pick up his children from Browns Plains and go home; and he insisted that I visit his family next time and we all meet up and talk books and writing. He said he totally enjoyed catching up and we must do it again.
