Today, Mum and I went out to the Transport Department. We had to check to see something about my rego for my car... but everything was okay.
Then, I took her out to The Really Good Book Shop and when I opened the door and let her in, she just stood there with her mouth on the floor! She was astounded at how many books were in this small shop... and loved how clean the place was, how new the books looked and how many new books were on sale for less than the retail price.
After we purchased a few books, we headed off to MacDonalds and had something the cafe there... while we were there, it poured rain! We enjoyed our snack - and this is where I took this photo - and then we were on our way back to her place.
It was such a great morning had with my Mum; and after she came to my place for dinner where I cooked up a ripper Fried Rice with a nice little dessert of yoghurt and fruit and some chocolate and green tea... yummo. :D
