Over the past 2 - 3 weeks, I've been observing a bird's nest outside my place.
They went from building it, to laying eggs, hatching, feeding the three young to what happened today...
... those three young were pushed out of the nest and taught to fly!
Aaahh, Spring Birdies...
And every time I was out there in the sun photographing the nest, I had two or three parent birds swooping on me... yes, they were protective of their babies, but I didn't flinch or dodge, I whistled and made sure to be friendly towards them.
