Last Coats

Today I was at it again with the wash table.

I used 280 grade sandpaper (which is really fine sandpaper) and took off the gloss from the last coat of stain. Then, I worked in another coat, tipped it (this is where you use the tips of the brush to take out the thickness of the stain and give it glossy appearance, fill in any gaps and give it finished look) and then I did the same for the back and arms of it too.

Now, we're expecting rain and storms to show up over the weekend, so I've had to put it under the house at my folks' house... this is unfortunate because it would have been better to have it in Dad's trailer again to have it dry better with a breeze. But with the rain coming, it's best to keep it sheltered.

I just can't wait to get it home by around Sunday or Monday when it's all finished and dried.
