Today, my sofa-bed was supposed to be picked up by Life Line. But they said they couldn't take it because of a tear in the arm of it.
It's over 20 years old and that's the only thing wrong with it... I'm so surprised at how fussy charities are getting these days.
All the charities I have contacted don't want anything that looks old. The Salvation army wants new furniture. St Vincent De Paul doesn't want anything 'that needs repairs' and Life Line are the same way.
How are we supposed to donate furniture to charities if they are being this fussy?
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
