Early Bird

I was up with the birds today - again - to get my car to the mechanics on time to have the fan in it replaced.

I arrived there at 7:35am and left the place at around 10am... woah! Three hours of sitting and knitting - not a bad thing at all! Well, after I got in the car, I found they hadn't removed the inspection light for me (as the car really doesn't need an inspection, because I can check the fluids myself; and they're okay). And well, they were well and truly under the pump when I told them.

So, I went off and had some brunch; as I hadn't eaten anything since 7am... and going for almost 4 hours without food wasn't pleasant. I got myself to Simply Beans - a great coffee shop not far away - and had a lovely frittata with salad and an ice coffee... what a great breakfast to eat!

After running into my Dad and his friend and having a chat with them, I went back to the mechanics and had the inspection light fixed.

What a big morning... now I want to go back to bed; and it's not yet 1pm.
