In an effort to add color and variety to my project, I'm going to try different subjects. (All with my macro lens! Because this lens is never coming off my camera. XD ) Not so many bugs, probably more flowers, maybe a few abstracts. We'll see how it goes. 8)
These tiny flowers are only 3mm (0.1in), they grow in little rows and hang down. I have no idea what they are. But they look so pretty, still covered in tiny dew drops, that I couldn't leave them without taking a few shots. (There is a larger version to view if you like.)
I know flower shots are regarded by some as "easy" snaps, but I love seeing flowers and I love shooting them. If they are easy, then I must suck really bad because I'm fully capable of making ridiculously bad flower shots. (But I'm not going to show you the bad ones!) Then again, it's all a matter of personal taste, isn't it. One person's flower snap is another person's... street shot? 8D
Very nice macro shot ,I do not think taking macro shots of flowers wild or not is very easy, you have done a very job in capturing the dew drops on these flowers.
Funny, we do the opposite of taken pic of flowers and we both are happy
with it. I Love yours for the great close ups the clearlity and details. I will do a few more of flower fields because of you .( and others )

Beautiful shot Livia. I think flowers are "easy" in that there are easy to find, but I think that actually taking a good flower shot is tricky, and definitely not "easy". Well done
Beautiful flowers, lovely composition and colours, pretty droplets and fantastic focus! (Of course, if you accidentally capture little spiders among the flowers or your other targets, most of us won't mind... :))

These are beautiful! I don't think it has anything to do with an easy shot or not if you're following the adage that the camera is only as good as the photographer. This is really gorgeous. And you have to see the shot in order to take it- and not everyone sees the beauty as you do. They look like little bejeweled dancers to me.
Beautiful - I wish there was jewelry like this. Although I sometimes succumb to this kind of talk about flower shots I really don't believe it. A like to snap "easy" flower shots and like them but they don't look like yours :-).

I'm a flower shooter too. I tend to disagree to those that say flower shots are easy. Just one thing, you can't tell them to stand still when the wind passes especially on macro. :-)

l so agree with your comments ....l think whatever you feel is a good shot for you, is ok - l go on how l feel when l view the photo ...no matter what it is of ....l love this shot - l might be a bit biased as l also love flower shots too!!
Fav.... GORGEOUS shot ... such beautiful little flowers! I don't think flowers are an "easy" shot... anyone can shoot a flower, but you got the angle right and the composition and lighting... brought it all together to create this.
@michaelelliott Michael, I'm kind of in shock. There are such great photos in this week's top 20, I think yours is way better than mine, and to be perfectly candid I also think everyone else's is actually better than mine, and while I feel equal parts happiness, excitement and surprise, there is a sprinkling of embarrassment on top of all those emotions. Mine's just a flower shot. It's so weird. I feel like I should be apologizing. Part of me wants to do that and part of me says I'm crazy if I do. XD
